RGIB’s Service Strategy

RGIB have the resources, expertise and necessary accreditations to deliver ‘Best Practice’ insurance broking services to all our clients.

Our service philosophy is to work in partnership with our clients towards attaining the most comprehensive and advantageous risk management and risk transfer program.

To ensure that our services are delivered effectively to our clients, from our first visit to program implementation, we work to a ‘Schedule of Services’. 

Once the program is implemented, a ‘Service Plan’ which outlines the timing of the various services, including renewal of our client’s insurance is electronically files to ensure adherence to the plan. Both the ‘Schedule of Services’ and the ‘Service Plan’ and designed in consultation with the client.

Close co-operation and successful integration of all of RGIB’s service functions is enhanced by our clearly defined project management approach to our clients insurance accounts. 

This also ensures the most effective communication between our clients, RGIB’ and insurers.

Quality Service and Performance Measurement

Our commitment to providing quality Client Services is ongoing with a number of unique initiatives implemented by our firm to ensure clients receive a standard of service second to none.

To ensure that we continue to provide our clients with quality service, the following procedures are conducted on a regular basis:

  • Ongoing professional development and training to all broking staff


  • Performance monitoring and program audits actively  undertaken on all accounts


  • Service Reports - monitored by RGIB’s Client Service Director. These reports specify matters outstanding that require attention and completion.


  • Regular Audits – Insurance program and claims service audits are carried out regularly by independent auditors and compliance experts.

In addition:

  • All senior servicing Brokers are recognised by the New Zealand & Australian Institute of Insurance and Finance ANZIFF and/or a by their qualifications through the Australian Securities & Investments Commission ‘ASIC’


  • Specialist divisions ensure the delivery of expert advice and services where unique skills and knowledge are required.
