Effective and efficient claims management is the key driving factor determining whether a claim is processed smoothly or not.

RGIB’ has enormous wealth of knowledge and experience dealing with clients claims; from simplistic matters through to large complex claims requiring expert evidence and technical clarification we have the capacity to ensure claims are dealt with efficiently and without undue complexity.

Our claims divisions within our insurance broking operations liaise directly with underwriters and account services to ensure claims are managed in a timely and efficient manner indeed, when we phone a claims manager expressing our dissatisfaction concerning a client's claim, things happen fast.

RGIB’ claims personnel are supported by our technical division which aims to provide:

  • Efficient service on all claims matters


  • Effective negotiations with insurers on losses


  • Expediting of settlement from insurers


  • Review of current claims procedures, especially with regard to routing of communications and completion of claims forms


  • Agreement with insures on the use and pre-appointment of loss adjusters to avoid unnecessary delays


  • Regular status checks on claims


  • Assistance with claim recoveries to reduce losses (including those below the deductible)


  • Regular communication with clients on the status and progress of claims
 

Technology

RGIB’s claims management services incorporate the use of sophisticated, computerised claims analysis systems designed to record, administer and analyse historical data associated with accidental losses. 

Our system can handle an unlimited number of classes of insured and non-insured risks or losses.

The inherent flexibility of this system enables it to meet the specialised and changing needs of our clients.

The claims reports generated from the system include:

  • Loss frequency and severity forecasts, trend analysis


  • Client specific Risk Management reports


  • Loss development reports


  • Matrix analysis


  • Monthly and quarterly claims analysis

Independent Claims Adjusters

In some circumstances, we have the authority to instruct claims adjusters without initial consultation with underwriters which can help to speed up the process of finalising a claim.
